Now If What Then: Farming Tokyo, Spiral Gallery (2014):

In August 2014 Now If What Then: Farming Tokyo was exhibited as a solo show at the wonderful Spiral contemporary art gallery in Tokyo, in collaboration with The Tokyo University of Agriculture. The exhibition presented 10 of my projects exploring ideas for re-imagining Tokyo -the world’s largest city - as self sufficient in food production.

The exhibition involved me running workshops with masters of agriculture students, and creative thinking workshops with adults and kids.

Now If What Then: Farming Tokyo was produced with help from art producer Kathryn Hunyor and Art Waku Waku. The giant 3D printed cowship model was made with the help of 3D printing genius sculptor Christopher Langton, a whole bunch of brilliant RMIT interns, and 3D modelling guru Jarrod Pak. Huge thanks to all.

Note: my Cowship Project was first presented in 2013 as Now If What Then, as part of CUSP, a touring exhibition of futures thinking curated by The Australian Design Centre.
