“Steve Mushin doesn’t hold back when thinking about our green future…” Climate scientist Professor James Renwick
I’m 100% focussed on projects which help create, and inspire hope for, a future rewilded, socially equitable and zero emissions world. I’m committed to honouring Te Tiriti o Waitangi (Aotearoa New Zealand), and to working with local communities and traditional land owners on all projects.
I’m an industrial designer by training (Bachelor of Industrial Design, RMIT), but I typically work at the conceptual design/masterplanning, and educational ends of architectural and landscape-scale projects. I thrive working with communities and organisations to help imagine ambitious projects, develop conceptual designs, and create engaging storytelling around climate change and biodiversity.
My work is almost always collaborative – with scientists, engineers, architects, artists, traditional land owners, city councils, museums, playground risk assessors, and many others. These are some of my recent projects.
