Collaborating with biologist Dr Wilson Lennard and CERES farm manager Chris Enis, I'm currently designing our first'Food Hub'prototype. The system is design to be an energy, water and nutrients self sufficient modular, high intensity urban food production system. Our first prototype will be built in July 2010 with three more to follow in 2011 and 2012.
THE FOOD HUBS VISION:
LOW COST, ORGANIC LOCAL FOOD PRODUCTION AND FOOD GROWING TRAINING IN EVERY SUBURB WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE.
